St. Clair Winery and Bistro will be proudly honoring all U.S. veterans and active duty military this Veterans Day, Friday, November 11. Veterans and current servicemen and women are invited to enjoy a free meal from a specially selected Veterans Day menu. All three St. Clair Winery and Bistro locations in Albuquerque, Las Cruces and Farmington are taking part in what has become an annual tradition to show appreciation to those who’ve sacrificed so much.

“Veterans often sacrifice everything for our freedom, it’s an honor to serve them and be able to say thank you to them each year,” commented Maritza Gomez, Marketing Director. “Honoring our Veterans means a lot to St. Clair, we are an American company and we are grateful for the opportunities they have provided us and all Americans.”

This year commemorates the third consecutive year for the program, since honoring Veterans with a free meal for the first time in 2014.  Last year, St. Clair was able to treat over 500 veterans and active duty military to a complimentary meal.

Veterans are invited to choose from a select menu that features a hearty taste of home. Options of Southwest Meatloaf, Chicken Picado, Country Pot Roast and other local favorites like Pasta New Mexico and Isabelle’s Chicken Salad will be offered to veterans dining-in between 11AM and 9PM on Friday, November 11. Alcohol and gratuity are not included. Mark your calendar and join St. Clair in raising a glass to the brave men and women of our armed forces!

Servicemen and women can claim their complimentary meal by presenting proof of service, such as: U.S. Uniformed Services ID Card, U.S. Uniformed Services Retired ID Card, current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD214), veterans organization card or by proudly wearing their uniform.

St. Clair Winery was established in 1984 and is located in Deming, New Mexico. In 2005, the winery expanded to open the first of three restaurants, now located in Albuquerque, Las Cruces and Farmington.  Entrees range from $9-$22 and are offered alongside New Mexico grown, produced and bottled St. Clair and D.H. Lescombes wines available for retail purchase or table service ranging from $9-$51. Visit www.stclairwinery.com for more information.

22nd annual St. Clair Winefest to benefit local cancer warriors

(DEMING, NM) — St. Clair Winery of Deming is pleased to announce the 22nd annual Winefest, benefiting Cancer Support of Deming and Luna County, Inc. Festivities will begin on Saturday, October 1st  from 12:00-7:00pm and continue on Sunday, October 2nd from 12:00-6:00pm. Admission at the gate is $5 and includes a complimentary wine glass and tasting tickets. Free admission is offered to all active-duty military and law enforcement.

St Clair will donate all proceeds from admission, ribbon sales, vendor fees and silent auction to the local non-profit, Cancer Support of Deming and Luna County, Inc. for the sixth year in a row. Last year’s donation was just over $3,300, which helped offset the cost of travel for many local cancer patients who often attend treatments many miles away.

“We’ve seen an increase each year in the donation amount, and we’re always happy the community is willing to come together to help support this great cause,” said Lora Robinson, Tasting Room Manager.

While on site, take advantage of a winery tour for a behind-the-scenes look at the largest, most award-winning winery in New Mexico. There will be 3 exclusive VIP tours ($15 per person or $25 per couple) as well as a free basic tour. The all-inclusive VIP tours will be held at 12:30, 2:00 and 5:00 pm with a winery tour, complimentary commemorative glass, and will finish with a coveted four-barrel wine tasting. VIP tours are limited to only 15 people, so make your reservation today. The basic winery tour will be given to the first 20 people at 3:30 pm each day.

Teacher Appreciation Week at St. Clair Winery & Bistro

Teacher Appreciation Week 2017

50% Discount on Meals for Teachers

teacher appreciation discount st clair winery albuquerque las cruces farmington

It’s been said that teaching is the single most important profession, and we are inclined to agree. Teacher Appreciation Week will be celebrated at St. Clair Winery & Bistro, from May 1-5. This is the third year in a row that we have celebrated by honoring teachers from New Mexico, Colorado and Texas with a 50% discount on their meal purchase during the promotional period.

“It’s our annual tradition to really take some time and let them know that we appreciate them and everything they do,” noted Director, Wayne Moore.

It’s not an easy job—with long hours, always changing standards, and stressful evaluations. But educators all over the nation overcome these challenges and make a difference in people’s lives.

“I remember arriving to New Mexico at eleven years old,” recollects Proprietor, Florent Lescombes. “I didn’t know a single bit of English—and there I was, enrolled into Mrs. Saunder’s fifth grade class at Alameda Elementary. It was such a supportive environment, within months I was well on my way.”

The special promotion comes at a good time for educators. PARCC testing will be wrapping up all around the state, and with the school year coming to a close, and we are happy to show gratitude for a job well-done! Join us for a generous discount for teacher’s appreciation week at our restaurant locations in Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and Farmington.

St. Clair Winery Creates Special Label Wine to Benefit Roadrunner Food Bank

SC & RRFB logosThis month, St. Clair Winery will release a new wine to the public in a unique way.  The New Mexico Winery will use their 2012 Bistro Red as an avenue to raise funds in partnership with Roadrunner Food Bank.

“Through the partnership, St. Clair has pledged to donate $1 per bottle sold of our new wine, Bistro Red, to Roadrunner Food Bank,” said St. Clair Marketing Director, Maritza Gomez. “This year, we anticipate the donation will be between $12,000 – $15,000.” The partnership between St. Clair Winery and Roadrunner Food Bank will help raise awareness around the issue of hunger in New Mexico.

Roadrunner Food Bank’s mission complements the deeply embedded family values of the St. Clair brand. “They pair perfectly!” said Gomez “Our goal was to ensure the donation would make an impact locally.” St. Clair chose to partner with the food bank because they are not just a city or county affiliate; their assistance spans the whole state and includes the entire spectrum of those in need including women, children, men and the elderly.St. Clair Bistro Red

Roadrunner Food Bank will be the sole beneficiary of this distinctive promotion. Melody Wattenbarger, president and CEO of Roadrunner Food Bank said, “Partnerships like this one help us extend our ability to reach more of our hungry neighbors. As one of the hungriest states in the country, every dollar we raise helps in our mission to end hunger. The funds raised over the length of this unique promotion will help us provide about 75,000 meals. Thank you, St. Clair, for this wonderful opportunity to raise funds and also remind people about the issue of hunger in New Mexico.”

To introduce the promotion, St. Clair Winery & Bistro will host a Release Party at both their Albuquerque and Farmington locations. Attendees will be asked to donate $5 to the Food Bank which will include a glass of the St. Clair 2012 Bistro Red poured from the barrel.

Media are invited to attend the kickoff event at noon on Wednesday, March 23 to learn more about the partnership.

Each of the St. Clair Winery & Bistro locations in Albuquerque, Farmington and Las Cruces will have the Bistro Red wine available for purchase.  Other New Mexico retail locations such as Albertson’s, Smith’s, Walgreens; and others who are contributing partners to Roadrunner Food Bank; will also stock and sell the uniquely labeled wine.

For details about volunteering or giving to the Food Bank, visit www.rrfb.org or call 505.247.2052.

Vineyard & Winery Tour

Join us for a Vineyard & Winery tour for a behind-the-scenes look and V.I.P. experience!

vineyard winery tour wine tasting new mexico

There is something magical in the air during harvest season at St. Clair Winery!

Maybe it’s the smell of grapes being turned into wine, or the buzz of the vineyard. Every year from July through September, St. Clair winemakers, vineyard workers, and cellar staff race against nature to pick grapes at the peak of ripeness and get them into the tanks and barrels to start making wine.

Harvest is one of the peak seasons for travel to St. Clair Vineyard and Winery. Mainly, because there is so much to see, taste, and do.

If you’re a local or just passing through Southern New Mexico, don’t miss out. Make sure to take the time to smell the scent of fermentation in the air. Locals say there is no other smell like it.

The winery tour will begin at the Las Cruces St. Clair Winery & Bistro with avineyard winery tour new mexico wine tasting Mimosa greeting. If you’d like to depart from Deming, we can arrange for pickup from the Deming Tasting Room. While visiting St. Clair Vineyards, just east of Lordsburg, enjoy the services of personable, well-informed tour guides that will take you on a journey throughout 180 acres of lush wine grape vines. Enjoy a delightful lunch and wine pairing hosted by master winemaker Hervé Lescombes, where you will taste vintage wines selected from his personal, underground wine cellar. Later at the winery in Deming, you’ll tour our operational winery and be treated to a V.I.P. six-barrel wine tasting.
